About Robert Yoakum

Robert Yoakum is the son of Delmer J. Yoakum and is a shipcarver by trade.

His most famous piece is the American Spirit Eagle, which has been on two national tours, including the 1982 World's Fair in Knoxville, Tennessee. The Eagle has also been dedicated to the Iranian hostages and our Vietnam POW's.

His collection of carousel animals are a quarter scale interpretation of full scale Carousel Animals, in laminated pine and oak.
